Meet the dentists

Dr. Harmeet Dhaliwal:

Dr. Harmeet Dhaliwal was born and raised in Grande Prairie, Alberta and completed her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees at the University of Alberta. Early in her career she practiced in communities across northern Alberta, including Edmonton, La Crete, Whitecourt, and even her hometown. In late 2020, she made the move to Calgary. Though she really enjoys removing wisdom teeth, Dr. Dhaliwal constantly works to expand her knowledge of dentistry and is very passionate about providing comprehensive dental care that considers overall well-being, for all ages. She has committed to taking quality continuing education to stay up to date on the latest research and further her knowledge in the field to provide the best care possible for her patients. Creating a positive, warm, and comfortable environment for patients also is front of mind. A dental mission trip to Nicaragua to provide dental care to underprivileged populations during school with the organization Kindness in Action was a professional highlight and ignited her passion for travel—she was grateful to achieve her goal of reaching all seven continents by the age of 30. In her spare time, Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys playing sports, floating on the river and exploring all that Calgary has to offer.

Dr. Navdeep Dhaliwal:

Dr. Dhaliwal, originally from Grande Prairie Alberta, received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Alberta. At the same university, prior to his dental school admission, he completed his four-year Bachelor of Science Degree. Now residing in Calgary, Dr. Dhaliwal is proud to call this city his home and looks forward to establishing long-term roots in the neighborhood of Mahogany. By getting to know you on a more personal level, Dr. Dhaliwal strives to make your visit as relaxed and comfortable as possible. He believes the key to improving oral health is patient education, therefore ensuring all appointments are informative as possible. Dr. Dhaliwal, who often goes by Nav, enjoys many aspects of dentistry and has committed himself to continuing education. He believes in providing the most current treatment options available to his patients. By taking courses to further his skills, Dr. Nav is able to provide complex dental care including: Invisalign orthodontics, wisdom teeth extractions with IV sedation and esthetic smile design using veneers. If not in the dental clinic, Dr. Dhaliwal is usually found on the golf course during the summer months trying to improve his golf game. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys not only watching but playing a variety of sports including basketball, ice hockey, golf, and football. Whether it’s traveling, trying new restaurants, or spending time with his family and friends, he believes a balanced lifestyle is important. Be sure to shoot him a big smile if you catch him at the dog park with his puppy, Bean!
